In addition, all qualifying sessions for the Series are covered live, many times with special guests such as American Le Mans Series drivers. In 2006, for the second season, American Le Mans Radio enjoys the sponsorship support of Michelin.
Anyone with access to the Internet can hear American Le Mans Radio broadcasts free of charge. The broadcasts are accessible through the Series' Web site. In addition, past broadcasts are archived on the site and can be listened to on demand.
American Le Mans Radio was created as a spin-off of Radio Le Mans, which was formed in the late 1980s to present an English-speaking radio broadcast of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With the formation of the American Le Mans Series in 1999, American Le Mans Radio became a natural extension and brought many of the same talented announcers and producers who have worked on Radio Le Mans.
